Gilt Parties in Los Angeles

The sunshine wasn’t the only thing heating things up on the West Coast last week, as Gilt Groupe made a splash with our first events in LA! To kick it off, Alexandra and I, along with our VP of Marketing, Christian Leone, hosted a private dinner at West Hollywood hotspot, Nobu, with our dear friends like stylist Andy LeCompte, actress Ashlee Margolis, publicist Annelise Peterson and many others.

The following evening, we attracted a crowd of about 200 trendsetters for our cocktail party on the rooftop of the Thompson Beverly Hills Hotel. Guests such as jewelry designers Michelle Stone and her sister Joanne of Citrine by the Stones; stylist and editor, George Kotsiopoulos; Art of Elysium founder, Deborah Marcus; and countless film industry personalities lounged on the chocolate brown chaises while sampling the delicious hors d’oeuvres and indulging in “gilty” conversation. With the warm breeze sweeping in off the Pacific and the postcard-worthy views of the city’s surrounding canyons, we really couldn’t have asked for a more stunning venue.

Though Alexandra and I are New Yorkers at heart, we love spending time in LA every chance we get. And between the sunshine and fantastic company, needless to say we not only had a great time, but also were incredibly inspired by LA style.
