Tory’s Guide to Summer Style

Pack smartly: I like to travel lightly but I always save space for shoes and accessories. Flat metallic sandals look great with short shorts and gladiators give just the right edge to sundresses. Vintage necklaces and rings add interest to summer basics.

Keep your style easy: I live in tunics. I wear them with shorts during the day and dress them up at night with a bold necklace. Tunics look great on women of all ages, including little girls. Check out the kids’ Reva Blossom Tunic.

Wear neutrals: I love neutrals paired with metallics or shots of color.

Take cover: I don’t go the beach without sunscreen and a straw hat. This summer I love a fedora.

Keep beauty low maintenance: In the summer less is more. I often leave my house with my hair wet and just use Bobbi Brown bronzer with SPF 30.

Entertain casually: I love throwing big clambakes with my boys. We invite all our friends and family to the beach for a bonfire, lobster, corn on the cob and s’mores.

Stay active: Growing up I played tennis with my parents and brothers all the time. I’ve gotten back into it and have been playing with friends on the weekend. I also love watching Wimbledon.

Listen to music: I just went to Glastonbury where I saw Jason Mraz perform. I loaded my iPod with his amazing album, We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things.

Find a good book: My favorite way to spend the afternoon is at the beach with a great book. I just finished Kelly Corrigan’s The Middle Place and started Nancy Horan’s Loving Frank: A Novel. I highly recommend both.

The promo code works on sale items as well. I had a few items in my shopping bag and when it came to checking out, I got an error message. I rebooted, went back to the website and it said that it's under maintenance. That was a few hours ago and i just tried it again and website is down ;-( I will keep trying. I LOVE your style - it is a bit of everything. I have to echo the wish for bigger sizes...you are a designer who makes the tunic so chic. This is a universal piece of clothing and so wonderful for those of us who are not a size 10! Because of being busty, I can't where some fashions presented on here. I would LOVE to see you branch out with this...please! I buy your tunics for my daughter, if you offered one size larger I could where them myself.

The yellow tunic in the picture was from last yr. This yr it was sold in pink " long venice caftan." I had to call the NYC store to purchase as no longer available on the web site.

If you are still having problems with the promo code, try switching browsers, someone else had suggested trying FIrefox instead of Safari. Otherwise, Tory Burch customer service can give you the 20% adjustment, just give them a call on 1.866.480.8679.

I think you have to create an account first, then add the items to see the coupon. Goofy, I know, but that finally worked for me.
