I'm Gilty: Sophie

• We quizzed Sophie Wharton, a cognitive science student who donned a dress for Gilt’s fashion parade, on what she thinks is chic.

• Tell us about your outfit.
• This Badgley Mischka dress is really elegant and simple. I wore it with big crystal Kenneth Jay Lane earrings and a silver Robert Lee Morris cuff bracelet. To balance all that silver out, I carried a crazy hot pink python skin clutch from Shana London. I felt pretty classy in the dress, and the accessories were really fun and girly.

• How would you describe your style philosophy?
• I usually choose clothes that are comfortable and will make me feel sexy. My style is a bit bohemian and funky, but I also try to change things up and not ever be too predictable.

• What are your most coveted items for fall?
• I'm hoping to get a new pair of skinny jeans: I'm checking out the Rich & Skinny options on Gilt.com right now. Some pumps would be nice too.

• Tell us about when you first discovered Gilt.
• I actually discovered it just this year. The first thing I bought was a present for my boyfriend – a cashmere V-neck from Inhabit. I love that it's so easy to use, and makes a whole new set of brands available to people like me, who are operating on a college-kid budget, but still want to be stylish.
