When you put this outfit together, did you start with the shoes?
This outfit was built around these Jeffrey Campbell boots — it wouldn't be complete without them! The gold elements on the boots inspired the bag, and by the time I was done putting the ensemble together, I couldn't have been happier.
Who is your style icon?
I'm in love with blogger Betty from Le Blog de Betty. She's my go-to for amazing style and inspiration. I find myself saving picture after picture of her — I try to recreate her looks and can't come close!
What kind of shoe do you gravitate towards?
As I’ve become more into personal style, I’ve realized I need a lot of shoes to pull off the looks I want. My Jeffrey Campbell boots are the perfect staple for any outfit. They work perfectly in summer or winter. 
What is your style philosophy?
Fashion and your personal style can define you. It's the first impression people get, so make it count! I feel like the more I've learned about my own personal style, the more I've learned about my personality.

Who is your style icon?  
I adore Georgina Chapman and Rachel Roy. I recently met Rachel, and she told me she loved seeing girls pursue their own businesses. That encouragement pretty much made my life.
How many pairs of shoes do you have? What kind of shoe do you gravitate towards?
I like to think that I came out of the womb wearing stilettos. I never wear flats unless my feet are absolutely dying.  I love platforms — the higher the better! I think I have over 50 pairs of platform stilettos.
What is your style philosophy?
 I'm inspired by bloggers, street style and the way clothes are styled on the runway.  I'm a savvy shopper and I love to put things together on a budget in a way that makes them look more expensive.

Who is your style icon?
At the moment it's a toss-up between Zoe Kravitz and Mary-Kate Olsen. Both have mastered the disheveled look, which I love.
How many pairs of shoes do you have? What kind of shoe do you gravitate towards?
I have between 100 and 200 pairs. I'm into anything with a platform — the higher the better. Currently I’m also into wood heels and extreme platform wedges. Shoes complete a look and say a lot about someone’s style.
When did you discover Jeffrey Campbell?                                                                                                                          
I discovered Jeffrey Campbell through their limited-edition line with LF stores. I loved how on-trend the shoes were, and how they incorporated current runway fashions at an attainable price point.
When did you first realize you were a shoe addict?
I've fallen in love with many a shoe. I remember adoring a pair Balenciaga suede platform sandals that Mary-Kate Olsen wore and I knew I had to have them. I took an hour-long train ride to Long Island to get them. It was worth it though — they had been reduced to $99 from $1,000!

Mary-Kate Olsen. Period.
How many pairs of shoes do you have? What kind of shoe do you gravitate towards?
I honestly don't know how many pairs of shoes I have; I just know they’re everywhere! I typically gravitate to shoes that have unique styles and heels over 4 inches. 
 Do you remember the first pair of shoes you ever owned?
I started to get into designer shoes about two years ago. I had always been more of a handbag girl, but now I’m both a bag and a shoe girl. I always covet Mary-Kate Olsen’s shoes — she has the best style!
What is your style philosophy?
Less is more.

Who is your style icon?
Iris Apfel. She is the perfect representation of unabashed personal style. We don’t have a whole lot in common in terms of our actual style, but her view on fashion is what I admire.
How many pairs of shoes do you have? What kind of shoe do you gravitate towards? 
I used to have an insane number of shoes. A boyfriend once lined all of them up from the closet in the back of my house all the way to the front door. Since then, I've cut down tremendously — mostly because I have limited space in my Brooklyn apartment. I gravitate toward classic styles in neutral colors. I also like having a few statement pairs on hand. I rarely wear flats; I'm a heel girl through and through. 
Do you remember the first pair of shoes you ever owned?
These Jeffrey Campbell heels I’m wearing were in stores for months. I debated whether to get them. I was ecstatic when they suddenly showed up at my door — my boyfriend knew how badly I wanted them and decided to surprise me. I wear them all the time. They're my favorite shoes.
What is your style philosophy?
Wear what you love. Dress for yourself and no one else!
