Cute Baby Shower Theme: Dr. Seuss

One of our Facebook friends posted pictures of her baby shower, and we just couldn’t resist sharing them with everyone. Kristin DeMos’s Dr. Seuss-themed shower was literally right out of a storybook. From life-size cut-outs of the famous Cat in the Hat to cupcakes iced in blue (recipe below!), this party was a blast for the whole crew.

New York Fashion Week: Top Trends for Moms

On Monday night we hopped a cab to Lincoln Center. Final destination: The Strut Fashion Show, a dream turned reality for Denise Albert and Melissa Gerstein of themoms.com. The show featured haute mamas (including actress Lisa Rinna) flaunting spring’s coolest clothes. Host Wendy Williams emphasized that “moms on a mission” come in all shapes and sizes, so Lycra is necessary (she read our minds!). The looks came in a slew of silhouettes, but here are the top trends from the runway.
