“We’ve helped over 250,000 people get their sight back, and that’s growing every day,” says TOMS’ founder Blake Mycoskie, who expanded the brand’s successful One for One.® model, originally created with their signature slip-on shoes, a few years ago to include eyewear. Which means that with every pair of sunglasses — debuting on Gilt today — sold, TOMS helps restore sight to a person in need, through sight-saving surgery, prescription glasses, or medical treatment.

“Summer nails usually scream bright colors—as they should!—but sometimes a pop of bold orange or blue can be too much next to a statement outfit for me. I love the sophistication this twist on a reverse French manicure brings to my hot pink dress!”
Recreate her look: 1. Apply base coat.
2. Turn your left hand to the side so your thumb is pointing toward you, and using the thinnest nail art or paint brush you can find, draw a C-shape as close to the cuticle as possible. I used Urban Jungle here. Repeat on the right hand by making backward C-shapes on each nail.
3. Apply a coat of Fierce No Fear to the rest of each nail, getting it as close as possible to the C-shapes you drew.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
5. Apply top coat and let dry. So cute!
Consider us smitten with Nanette Lepore’s laid back approach to feminine chic: The bold colors, pretty prints, and flattering silhouettes from today’s sale on Gilt top our list of summer must-haves, so it’s no surprise she lives as fabulously as she designs. We asked Nanette for a sneak peek inside her Memorial Day weekend at her family’s home in Amagansett on Long Island’s east end, and she obliged with a photo diary (snapped by her daughter, Violet!).
Clearly, the designer has a way with color and print—this is what her table looks like for an afternoon snack. Every afternoon, after walking down the cliffside stairs to the beach, Nanette and her family and enjoy farm fresh fruit and sip rosè.
