Second in size only to Burberry N.Y.C. flagship on 57th street among the US stores, the Michigan Avenue location is a reflection of the global store concept created by Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey.
In addition to the stunning LED-illuminated chrome facade which nods to the brand’s iconic check, the store will house several firsts for the venerable British brand. The Burberry Retail Theatre concept takes the brand’s innovative live streaming platform and brings it into the store by enabling the broadcast of live events and globally synced content onto its interior digital walls.
In addition to all the gorgeous Burberry product already available in the boutique, customers will also be able to experience the first in-person representation in the Americas of the Burberry Bespoke program. Customers will be able to customize the famous Burberry trench coat with up to 12 million possible variations! Another store first for the Americas is the in-store counter dedicated to the lush Burberry Beauty line. Makes a trip to Chicago in the winter sound pretty hot, right?
