Wish You Were Here: Gilt Staffers Share Their Holiday Snapshots

Leave it to team Gilt to say sayonara to 2013 in style — our staff spent their holidays shredding fresh powder, taking in cozy cabin views, and lounging on postcard-perfect beaches. We asked them to share their favorite snapshots from their travels near and far. Happy New Year!

“This is my idea of a white Christmas: serious powder in Mont Tremblant, Quebec. It was the single coldest place I’ve ever been, with temperatures well below zero, but totally worth it for the breathtaking views and incredible skiing!” – Tracey

“Over Christmas break, I ran my second half-marathon and cheered my dad on at the end of his fiftieth marathon! This was taken before we took off on our adventure.” – Gosia

“A staycation feast with my roommate: Beef wellington, truffled brussels sprouts, French onion soup, pommes anna, and more…major food coma!” – Aileen

“I went with a friend to San Juan, Puerto Rico for the holidays. We had a fabulous time taking in the culture and relaxing on the ‘playa’. The days were mostly spent beachside — a mojito in hand, of course.” – Chloe

“My family spent post-Christmas days on Whidbey Island, off the coast of Seattle. It was pretty much the definition of ‘peace and quiet’ — the perfect place to escape from the constant buzzing of NYC.” – Hannah

“Pomegranate candy cane martinis at my holiday potluck dinner with my girlfriends. They were so tasty and festive!” – Marissa
