About Alex & Ani

Alex & Ani founder Carolyn Rafaelian uses her jewelry collection to spread "positive energy ... enlighten the mind, and empower the spirit." Based in Rhode Island, Rafaelian founded her company in 2004 and named it after her two oldest daughters; her niece, Rachel Rafaelian, serves as head designer of Alex & Ani's retro-chic Vintage Sixty-Six line. Each Alex & Ani piece is handcrafted from colorful vintage stones and recycled metals sourced from Rhode Island mills to ensure a low carbon footprint. Some of Rafaelian's most popular designs include expandable bracelets and rings that, "with the slide of a hand," can be adjusted for a perfect fit. Alex & Ani's brilliant bangles, beaded necklaces, and drop earrings are the perfect accessory for the eco- and economically conscious fashion fan.

Beaded Bracelets & Bangles Feat. Miguel Ases

Rare is the designer who can pair colorful beads and crystals in formations as striking as the ones showcased here, but Miguel Ases, R.J. Graziano, and others do so exquisitely. The emphasis of this roundup — which includes turquoise stretch bracelets, crystal beaded numbers, and multi-colored bangles — is on movement and elegance. We’re especially smitten because they're perfect for a number of destinations, from the beach to a black-tie soiree.
