Launched in 2007 by Boston-based designer Amelia Lock, Amelia Rose specializes in rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets that transition easily from the workplace to the cocktail party. Swarovski crystals, semi-precious beads, and gemstones figure prominently, with settings cast in gold, gold vermeil, and silver. In addition to its popular bridal collection, Amelia Rose Design includes the Cabo collection (quartz and simulated hydro quartz pieces) and a line of initial charms. An animal lover, Lock has raised more than $35,000 for the Massachusetts Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) through sales of her specially designed Project Angell pendant; other Amelia Rose pieces have adorned cast members of Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives.
