Boston-based designer Amelia Lock launched her handmade jewelry company in 2007, and it has since been featured in magazines like The Knot and Marie Claire, as well on Gossip Girl and Desperate Housewives. Her signature pieces are all handmade and feature Swarovski crystals, semi-precious beads, and gemstones set in gold, gold vermeil, and silver. Best known for her wedding collection, she also designs a beautiful line for kids. Furthermore, Lock is big into charity — her Project Angell pendant, created for the Massachusetts Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA), has raised more than $35,000.
