Trained at New York’s School of the Visual Arts, Andrew Zuckerman’s arresting images of animals have earned him accolades from the art world, and his award-winning still-life and portrait photography has been featured in galleries across the globe. In Birds, his most recent body of work, he photographed more than 90 species of birds, stripping away all context and creating a distinctive style all his own. His love of the camera lens has led Zuckerman to cofound a film-production company, and his first feature documentary will be released in fall 2010.
