GILT NOIR EXCLUSIVE

20x200 presents Andrew Zuckerman. These prints were created in a limited edition of 10, using archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper with a luster finish. Every print is accompanied by a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity. Paper size is 30 inches x 30 inches.

The print featured here was taken from Zuckerman's acclaimed Bird. Turning his camera to the world of birds, Andrew Zuckerman has created a new body of work showcasing more than 200 stunning photographs of nearly 75 different species. These winged creatures from exotic parrots to domestic pigeons, and golden eagles to snowy owls are captured with Zuckerman's painstaking perspective against a stark white background to reveal the vivid colors, textures, and personalities of each subject in extraordinary and exquisite detail.

Andrew Zuckerman was born in Washington, DC, in 1977, and spent his teenage years shooting local bands for small magazines. He moved to New York to attend SVA before opening his own studio, where he has created award-winning still-life and portrait photography. In 2006, he co-founded LN&W, which has produced the critically acclaimed films High Falls, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and the feature documentary Still Bill, slated for wide release in fall 2010.

20x200.com offers museum-quality, limited-edition prints from hundreds of contemporary artists and photographers. The critically-acclaimed site is curated by New York gallerist Jen Bekman. New art is introduced twice weekly in an email newsletter.

Brand: Andrew Zuckerman Limited Edition Prints

Andrew Zuckerman’s award-winning still-life and portrait photography has earned him accolades from the art world and gallery shows around the globe. For “Birds,” an animal portrait series, the School of Visual Arts grad photographed more than 90 species of birds — stripping away all context and creating a distinctive style all his own. Through Late Night and Weekends, a film production company he cofounded in the 2000s, Zuckerman has directed full-length documentaries and also helped create ad campaigns for Puma and Gap. More recently, he’s collaborated with Apple on making launch films for several of the company's products.
