Artehouse
The story of Artehouse — today, the largest publisher of vintage posters in the world — begins with a simple act of generosity. In 2000, company cofounder Richard Weedn gave his friend, Terence Flynn, a rare motorcycle poster as a gift. The exchange prompted a series of conversations that eventually led the two men to open a poster business — and so Artehouse was born. The company's extensive collection of giclée prints includes designs inspired by the beach, transit signage, favorite inspirational sayings, antique café and restaurant marquees, even street signs — all hand-numbered and sold in limited-edition runs. Set on slightly antiqued planked wood, bamboo, or reclaimed wood, Artehouse posters represent the ultimate in stylish wall art.
