Max, her innovative line of jewelry and accessories, she worked as a buyer — gaining a big-picture perspective on the fashion industry and developing an eye for the latest trends. These days Vennema scopes out the hottest designers and runway looks to find new ideas for her braided knot bracelets, colorful dangling earrings, and other creations. Plated with precious metals, and featuring lots of enamel and gemstones, A.V. Max jewelry is handmade in New York’s fashion district and reflects Vennema’s fashion-forward Manhattan aesthetic.
