B:Scott
Combine stark German aesthetics with Japanese design and you get B:Scott: the intriguing menswear label launched by designer Brandon Scott in 2009. A past winner of Sportswear International’s "Best New Designer of the Year" award, Scott first made his name in the fashion world as a design assistant with cult label Nice Collective, then as the main man behind B.Son (Rebecca Beeson’s menswear line). With B:Scott, he attempts to capture “the mundane beauty of everyday life” by reinterpreting cardigans, hoodies, and other staple garments with a cool, citified edge. Baggy cuts, strategically placed zippers and snaps, and camouflage and woven fabrics lend each garment attitude and masculine sophistication.
