Canvas iPad Sleeve:
Care: Spot clean
BAGGU’S simple, high-quality nylon, canvas and leather bags come in a rainbow of colors, shapes and prints. They’re super-durable and reusable, and can be put to all kinds of uses. The idea for BAGGU came about when then-student Emily Sugihara and her mother became obsessed with a reusable grocery bag from Sweden that they had received as a gift. Unable to track down anything like it online, they decided to make their own: Emily found some ripstop nylon (it carries up to 25 pounds!) and the two got to work sewing a bunch of prototypes. They named the company BAGGU, the Japanese word for bag, and it’s about as appropriate as it gets -- the brand has expanded far beyond its initial foldable grocery bag purview, but keeps things firmly in the bag line: they make chic, minimalist leather bucket bags, totes and pouches, as well as canvas duck bags, backpacks and rucksacks, ipod and ipad cases, and even slings for your surfboard. Brooklyn-based (with a store in hipster haven Williamsburg), BAGGU has sealed its cool credentials with the eco-friendliness of its products, which are all made of recycled materials and are completely recyclable as well.
