Brand: Barker Black

Origin: Italy

The English shoe company Barker was founded in the village of Earls Barton by Arthur Barker in 1880. The brand hit paydirt by specializing in the “Good Year Welted” construction of shoes, which soon became a staple in English men’s wardrobes. In 2005, creative director Derrick Miller launched Barker Black, a subversive subset of Barker, which remains just as dedicated to quality-made shoes as its parent line, while turning it all on its head with signature details like skull and crossbone detailing on the classic silhouettes.
