About Bassett Furniture

Bassett Furniture traces its roots back to late 1800s Virginia, where the Bassett family operated a sawmill. The original company employed around 50 workers, and specialized in oak pieces with simple profiles and carved overlays. Bassett opened its first free-standing store in 1997, and continues to honor the founder's vision of affordable, stylish furniture.
