About Bulova

Joseph Bulova emigrated from Bohemia (now known as the Czech Republic) in 1870 and opened his first jewelry store five years later on Manhattan's Maiden Lane. Early on, Bulova established a name for himself in the watchmaking business. Not only did he debut luxe, now-classic designs, but he also used cutting-edge manufacturing techniques and creative advertising campaigns. The company went on to create the world's first electric clocks, broadcast the world's first-ever TV commercial (aired July 1, 1941), and collaborate with NASA. Today, Bulova's watches stay true to the original design aesthetic: Elegant and refined timepieces meticulously crafted with top-quality materials. Men's and women's watches come in all different styles, from dressy to sporty.
