By Terry founder Terry de Gunzburg abandoned her medical school studies in search of a more creative calling. She found it with makeup artistry—eventually working with such big names as Guy Bourdin, Helmut Newton, and David Bailey, not to mention serving as a YSL beauty exec for fifteen years. In 2000, de Gunzburg left YSL to start her own makeup line, through which she seeks to deliver the same level of detail that's found in haute couture.
