In 1968, an ambitious young upstart from the Bronx named Calvin Klein got his start in the fashion world by opening a tiny boutique in a New York City hotel. The Calvin Klein Collection remains the company’s flagship line, with Brazilian design dynamo Francisco Costa in the creative director’s chair since 2003. The label’s high-fashion footwear includes everything from strappy leather sandals and dramatic high-heeled boots to men’s patent leather oxfords and loafers.
