Restrained yet bold, Skovgaard’s designs feature meticulous craftsmanship and distinctive details such as serrated rubber soles (Skovgaard’s signature feature), sky-high geometric heels, metal studs, decorative zippers, and colorblocking. Originally from Denmark, Skovgaard launched her footwear line after working for years as a custom couture designer in the Middle East. Now based in London's hip East End, she turns out some of the most recognizable shoes available today — from platform peep-toe wedges with contrasting embossed straps to tongue stiletto booties crafted from orchid-colored suede.
