When British lawyer Eva Karayiannis couldn’t find her daughters prim, high-quality garments, she took matters into her own fashionable hands, opening children’s boutique Caramel. Before long, she went from stocking upscale wears to manufacturing them, using superb French and Italian fabrics. Today, the Carmel range includes ruffled tops, apron dresses, cardigans and button-downs, rendered in quiet, earthy tones and in sizes that accommodate infants up to preteens.
