Chris Benz
Growing up in Seattle, Chris Benz developed his aesthetic after spending hours exploring the 1950s artifacts in his grandmother’s attic. Today, even after a Parsons degree, an internship with Marc Jacobs, a CFDA award for emerging designer and a star-studded debut on the New York fashion scene, Benz is still heavily influenced by the timeless icons of femininity. In 2007, his eponymous label was launched with a runway show that had editors buzzing. Benz defines his customer as a “reckless preppie,” and with his unique approach to casual elegance, he's poised to redefine American sportswear.
