Civilianaire’s American-made selvedge denim is at the cutting-edge of cool. The clothing and jeans company was founded in 2009 by Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman, founders of legendary Lucky Brand Jeans -- these guys know their business. Though Civilianaire’s selvedge raw denim is woven in Japan to exacting standards, the clothing is all assembled at their factory in Vernon, California, alongside men’s and women’s trousers, shirting, knits, outerwear and accessories. Civilianaire’s extreme eye for detail -- think herringbone pockets and natural twill waist bands -- is complemented by the brand’s most unique offering, its range of denim colors. Jeans come in the standard indigo as well as light blue, tropical blue, baby blue, gray, olive, and burgundy: a raw-denim-rainbow!

Besides putting on an additional layer, the most noticeable change in attire come fall is that colors get more autumnal—that neon tank top you rocked on the beach just doesn't generate the same energy in cooler temps. The perfect fall color? Green. It's just as earthy as brown, but far less drab. Stock up on our selections from Jack Spade, Gant Rugger, Miansai, and more.
