The name Coccoli comes from the Italian word "coccolo," or "pampered, chubby baby." Founded by Montreal fashion designer Marian Vachon in 1986, Coccoli started out as a purveyor of diaper bags and gradually evolved into a full-fledged clothing label offering European-style baby clothes in sizes from preemie to age 24 months. Coccoli's velour footie pajamas are no ordinary PJs: their tasteful prints and classic design make them dressy enough for little ones to wear both in the house and out on the town. Rompers, two-piece sets, onesies, and other Coccoli confections are rendered in durable fabrics and come in soft colors and traditional patterns such as stripes and polka dots.
