Coclico
The name, like the designer, has French roots: Coclico translates to poppy flower, Sandra Cansalier's inspiration for her fresh, colorful footwear. Though Cansalier was born into a family of shoemakers in France, it wasn't until she left for New York City in 2000 that, at the age of 22, she launched her footwear collection and opened up a successful boutique. The designer never forgot her roots, though, and as a tribute to her family, she prefers a traditional European approach to shoemaking: a focus on craftsmanship and durability.
