Named after the French word for poppy flower, Coclico features the fresh and colorful women’s footwear designs of Sandra Cansalier. Though born into a family of shoemakers in France, it wasn't until Cansalier left home for NYC in 2000 that, at the age of 22, she started creating her own collection of shoes and boots. The designer never forgot her roots, though, and as a tribute to her family, she takes a traditional European approach to shoe-making: one focused on craftsmanship and durability. Supple leathers and suede, oversize buckles, cutouts, and other unique details make Cansalier’s shoes total standouts. From classic wedge sandals with soft-braided rope ankle straps (the Karmina) to fringed peep-toe pumps (the Plath), Coclico’s collection will have you strutting in style.
