The guys at Crap Eyewear approach their vocation — creating “wild sunglasses for wild people” – with irony and irreverence. Styles like “the Juan Jovi” (rectangular black frames) and “the Beach Party” (wayfarers) come in off-beat colors or feature <i> Matrix</i>-y reflective lenses in bright blues and purples. Los Angeles-based designers Peter Nussbaum and Nick Potash founded Crap Eyewear in 2009 after creating bold sunglasses for their friends and family members. The duo released a line of glasses to the wider public and soon found their wares being sold in Australia and other faraway lands.
