Creative Recreation
Creative Recreation was launched in Orange County, California, in 2002, when two longtime friends noticed a gap in the footwear market. Despite a wide variety of dress shoes and athletic sneakers within easy reach, there was little that would fit into the world of a young (and, yes, creative) professional who didn’t need a pair of cap toes for work but didn’t want to wear to the office shoes that were made for the court. So the gents behind the label — both already employed within the footwear industry — decided to produce a line of shoes designed for their own lifestyle. Polished yet unabashedly youthful, Creative Recreation’s sneakers bridge the gap between formal and casual, with style to spare.
