Crop by David Peck
Houston-based fashion designer David Peck combined the words “creative” and “opportunities” and came up with Crop, the name of his luxurious, socially responsible womenswear label. Launched in 2010, Crop by David Peck features custom prints, bright colors, and feminine shapes inspired by European style and traditions as well as the charitable causes Peck supports. From the elegant Micaela — a cap-sleeved, purple-hued dress made of 100% silk — to gauzy blouses, bridal gowns, and skirts brightened with low-impact dyes, each garment is created in Houston at Peck’s eco- and fair labor-friendly factory. A past recipient of Ecole Parsons' Silver Thimble and Designer of the Year awards, Peck has amassed a celebrity fan base that includes Kate Bosworth and Mayim Bialik, and has also been featured in Teen Vogue, Marie Claire, and other prestigious fashion glossies.
