Da-nang
Da-nang debuted in 2003 with a kids’ clothing collection featuring military-inspired cuts and colorful embroideries. Over the years Da-nang founders Albert Dahan and Dov Haddad have held onto that winning combination while expanding their line to include color-saturated tattoo prints, lace skirts, and bright new takes on designer camouflage pants, as well as women’s clothing. French colonialism in Vietnam might seem like an unlikely origin for a children’s clothing brand, but the city of Da-nang’s culture clash is the inspiration behind this label and its “surplus Indochine.” Da-nang’s biggest fans include Suri Cruise and the Jolie-Pitt kids.
