Deborah Lippmann began working as a manicurist to pay the bills while she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a jazz vocalist. When celebrities and magazine editors began clamoring for appointments with her, Lippmann turned her day job into a career. Soon thereafter, Allure magazine listed her as one of the top manicurists in the U.S. In spite of her divergent career path, Lippmann has never lost her love for music.
