  • Each drawer measures 17¾ inches in width by 12 5/8 inches in depth by 7¼ inches in height

One hundred percent of the peroba used by Environment Furniture is reclaimed from homes, industrial buildings, barns and other structures that are abandoned or scheduled to be torn down. Nature imparts the natural aged patina on the boards from fifty or more year's exposure to the elements, which are carefully selected and preserved to be showcased in the furniture. Each board is unique in grain, aging and texture. The peroba is hand cleaned without the use of any toxic chemicals.

Environment Furniture’s sustainably-produced, eco-conscious wares are made with wood and canvas that has been reclaimed, recycled or repurposed. Any new wood that’s used comes from strictly managed certified forests, while other pieces are built with one-of-a-kind boards that have been exposed to the elements for decades — acquiring a truly weathered look that no artificial distressing could hope to replicate. Environment’s newest collection, for instance, is made with wood reclaimed from 100-year-old homes in the Brazilian colonial city of Paraña.
