With a name like Pearl, it's no surprise that Erwin Pearl made a name for himself as a jeweler and costume jewelry designer. Born in Austria, Pearl founded Erwin Pearl as a fine jewelry firm in 1957. He quickly became one of the top diamond cutters in the world, and by 1970 had tried his hand at designing his own pieces.
