About Fahlgren

Skulls, skiers and “psycho-bunnies” are just a few of the irreverent designs you’ll find embroidered on Brett Fahlgren’s chic neckties. A NYC-based style expert and correspondent for GQ, Fahlgren draws inspiration from traditional Ivy League men’s fashion, childhood memories, and his Swedish heritage to design his handmade cravats, which are woven in the UK and finished in the States. Fahlgren’s tie collection isn’t only about skeletons and angry rabbits: for those formal boardroom meetings and business deals, his collection offers plenty of versatile plaids, subdued stripes, and modest antique crests. Recently Fahlgren launched a line of ski sweaters, scarves, hats, and gloves to keep you fellows warm during those winter months.

Looking for advice on how to look sharp this season? You could do worse than follow the lead of Nick Sullivan, who, in addition to being fashion director of Esquire is one of the best dressed guys we know. With that in mind — and to celebrate the latest issue of the magazine’s biannual Big Black Book — we asked Nick to curate a sale featuring his picks for what a man of style should be wearing circa fall 2013. Oh, and for further advice on how to put it all together, be sure to pick up a copy of the latest Big Black Book — offered at a price you won’t find anywhere else.
