Brand: Frank & Lu
Material: 100% Cotton
Origin: United States
Frank and Lu, the creative directors of the children’s clothing label Frank & Lu, rarely spend their nine-to-fives at the company headquarters. Is it because they’re telecommuters? No: it's because they’re still schoolchildren. Their dad, veteran fashion designer Michael Jarvela, founded Frank & Lu in 2011 out of “necessity”: seems that Frank and Lu harbor some fairly strong views about fashion, and Jarvela was only following the path of least resistance by creating an entire clothing line based upon their unyielding demands for comfort and convenience. For boys, Frank & Lu offers a straightforward, casual collection that includes faded solid-color T-shirts, zip-up cardigans and hoodies, cute chinos and jeans, and streetwear-style jackets. For girls, striped sweater dresses, skinny jeans and ribbed leggings and skirts are both chic yet age-appropriate. Most styles are made from lightweight fabrics to make dressing stress-free for both kids and parents.
