Teri Dimalanta named Giddy Giddy — her super-cute line of baby and toddler felt hair clips, French barrettes, and other hair accessories — after "giri giri," the Japanese-Hawaiian term for “cowlick.” Inspired by her baby daughter’s unruly hair, Dimalanta rediscovered her passion for creative work and in 2003 switched careers from investment banking to accessories design. Giddy Giddy’s bright and cheerful collection includes hats, headbands, ponytail holders and other hair accessories featuring animal and floral themes; the brand also designs backpacks and pouches for your little one to store all her hair goodies and other essentials. Giddy Giddy participates in microlending to help women around the world gain funding to launch their own businesses and make their own dreams come true.
