Haider Ackermann
Unusual draping, avant-garde silhouettes and a masterful use of hardware are the hallmarks of all things Haider Ackermann. The Columbian-born, French-raised designer drew upon his cross-cultural upbringing to launch his eponymous label in 2001. The result is sharp, form-conscious clothing, shoes and accessories oftentimes marked by spiraling cutouts and provocatively placed zippers. Ackermann’s bags and leggings are consistently among his top-sellers, thanks to his mix of streamlined shapes and ultramodern details. As for his footwear: Think mesh stiletto heels, sexy multi-strap sandals, and ankle boots with chic leather trim.
