Havaianas
Since the 1960s, the name Havaianas has been synonymous with flip-flops. Made in Brazil of supple molded rubber, Havaianas are comfortable, shock-absorbent, and durable enough to resist warping and weathering. At one time, they were available in only eight colors, but now there’s virtually no permutation of color and theme one can’t find. Over the years, Havaianas' popularity has expanded tremendously, thanks to special editions created for the 1998 World Cup, the Academy Awards in 2003 (and each year since), and even one jewel-encrusted version for the Brazilian jewelry house H.Stern.
