About Hoyle Jackson

Hoyle Jackson may just be the best denim brand you’ve never heard of. Their very first sample pair landed on no less than Brad Pitt in 2007, but they waited until 2009 to launch (very quietly) with a capsule collection in Ron Herman in L.A., and only came onto the market in full force in 2011. If it seems like they’re biding their time, letting things evolve organically, well… that’s exactly the case. The trio behind the line — twin sisters Nina and Clare Hallworth, and longtime friend Geoff Roiz — have enjoyed considerable success over the last couple of decades as costume designers, celebrity stylists, and wardrobe supervisors, so they’re in no hurry. Get onboard now. Something as stylish as this collection of US-made jeans, shirts, and work pants won’t stay under the radar for long.

Fall Trends: Country Gentleman

The clean lines and hard edges of the city have their place, but this season, a look that’s a little less severe than all that has really taken hold. It’s rugged, yet refined, and it’s marked by key elements like shawl-collar sweaters, stout outerwear, and boots that are better suited to a walk in the woods than a stroll on the sidewalk. We’re calling it Country Gentleman — you’re more than welcome to just call it stylish.
