illPinto is a creative arts management studio run by husband-and-wife team Eric Pinto and Illana Hester. The duo does everything from fostering new art projects to helping out with the books for a wide range of clients in their native NYC and beyond. But that’s not the whole story. illPinto is also an artists’ collective, a community of like-minded creative types working to bring something new into the world. It’s in that spirit that illPinto partnered with artist Dennis McNett to create a range of limited edition, hand-printed skateboards, inspired by the sport’s rich history — from its roots in surf culture to the skating scene today. Each piece is limited to a run of 10, along with an artist’s copy, and takes its cues — from the shape of the board to the style of the art — from a decade in skateboarding’s history.
