Iconic fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi began sewing clothing when he was 10 years old, and by age 15 had started his own label. A native New Yorker, he studied at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, presented his first collection in 1987 and subsequently conquered the fashion world with his quirky yet sophisticated women’s dresses, wedding gowns and other designs.
