Ismodern began with the birth of Tami Nguyen Rael’s daughter, Isabella. Rael and her husband — both architects — were constantly looking for furniture, clothing, and toys that would fit their modern style. Finding the market lacking in products she wanted to buy, Tami began designing things for their daughter.
