James DeWulf: Chic Concrete Furnishings & More

“I strive to make beautiful things from industrial materials,” says California–based designer James DeWulf. And we can safely say he handily succeeds at it. We love his work for the way it combines sleek sophistication with a subtle industrial bent and an imitably breezy West Coast vibe. We're big on everything in the sale, but our favorite piece is the ping-pong dining table, done in concrete with carbon-fiber reinforcement. It’s regulation size (and the middle net’s removable), so you can get playing as soon as you clear the dessert plates.

We're big on the modular “Interlock” outdoor furniture series, and the utterly simple, minimal steel chair in a white finish.
