The beautiful lamps, furniture, home accessories and fabric that make up the Jamie Young oeuvre have an origin story that’s as charming as they are: artists Jamie Young and David Jeter credit a 1997 daytrip to Mexico as the springboard for the launch of their thriving company. While south of the border, they purchased a trunk load of rustic garden pots and planters from a roadside stand, and then promptly resold the lot to their neighborhood flower shop; that experience inspired the couple to manufacture their own line of weathered, culturally-influenced wares and, eventually, open an L.A.-based showroom. Today the company supplies their elegant pieces, from table lamps to occasional furniture to jewelry, to stores throughout the country and luxury hotel chains around the world.
Your room can have the greatest sofa, art, and accessories out there . . . but without overhead lighting to tie it all together, it’ll likely fall flat. With that in mind, we’ve assembled a broad lighting selection: Whether your taste is modern, classic or transitional, you’re sure to find something that’ll inspire you — and illuminate your style.
We've got seating options here — from traditional wings to rakish zebra-print armchairs — for aesthetes of every stripe. And to complement the seating, we've also stocked this sale with ottomans in a wide range of looks. For maximum impact don't be afraid to mix and match styles.
Nothing inspires (and rewards) hard work like a beautiful office—and if that office is in your home, this is doubly true. Set a cerebral, stylish tone with Soicher Marin's vintage map prints and astrology charts; add a stately vibe with Barreveld's slanted-top Reservations Desk; and light it all up with Holly Hunt's La Lampe Gras collection, which elegantly evokes the Industrial Era.
This lighting sale features everything from antique-style table lamps to super-modern chandeliers and pendants, from names like Cyan, AF Lighting, and Crystorama. Our buyers love Jamie Young's jute pendant lamp, and Aidan Gray’s lamps, many of which are mounted on bases that look like heavily distressed classical sculpture.
