About Jamie Young

The beautiful lamps, furniture, home accessories and fabric that make up the Jamie Young oeuvre have an origin story that’s as charming as they are: artists Jamie Young and David Jeter credit a 1997 daytrip to Mexico as the springboard for the launch of their thriving company. While south of the border, they purchased a trunk load of rustic garden pots and planters from a roadside stand, and then promptly resold the lot to their neighborhood flower shop; that experience inspired the couple to manufacture their own line of weathered, culturally-influenced wares and, eventually, open an L.A.-based showroom. Today the company supplies their elegant pieces, from table lamps to occasional furniture to jewelry, to stores throughout the country and luxury hotel chains around the world.

Floor Pillows

When it comes to finishing your space, don’t underestimate the power of a floor pillow… especially if you live in a less-than-palatial space. "Floor pillows are a great option for apartment dwellers (especially those on a budget) as they provide comfy extra seating but can be easily stacked and stored out of the way,” says this sale’s trusty buyer, Katherine Miller. "Personally, I always love to sit on the floor (brings me back to childhood) and floor pillows allow you do that without getting your back in knots." You can keep that latter discomfort from happening … and keep high style forefront … with these inspired options.
