Ever since his first runway show in 1970, Florence-born designer Roberto Cavalli has been synonymous with high-brow animal-print Italian fashion. Having patented a process for printing on lightweight leather, Cavalli opened his first boutique in Saint-Tropez, and with the assistance of his wife, former Miss Universe Eva Duringer, Cavalli launched his diffusion label Just Cavalli in 1998. His menswear line combines his love of a good pattern with his classically trained Florentine eye for detail.
