Kanupriya Khurana left her corporate job in human resources to launch her boho-chic eponymous jewelry line in 2010, and we’re so glad that she did. Kanupriya reflects Khurana’s mastery of color and form: chalcedony clusters crown tilted green onyx squares or druzy ovals to form dramatic drop earrings; polished labradorite, jasper, and hydro amethyst of various shapes jut out at many different angles to form playful statement necklaces; and pink tourmaline and cubic zirconia form delicate flowers to add a feminine touch to chunky gold-plated bangle bracelets. A self-taught designer, Khurana describes her earrings, oversize cocktail rings, thick cuffs and other pieces as modern-meets-vintage. We describe them as stunning-meets-necessary.
