Kata Golda started making hand-sewn keepsakes for her baby daughter in 1999. Fascinated with wool and felt dyed by hand, she started stitching together items to populate her new toddler's life. Eventually, the hobby expanded to become a full line of items for kids. Deliberately rough-hewn, and reminiscent of children's artwork, her line now includes photo albums and pockets, accessories, pillows, stuffed toys, and more.
We were so excited when we discovered Modern Bird Studios' amazing artwork! Give them a family picture or photo of your little one, and they'll transform it into a canvas or wood masterpiece. Here's the cool part: You can choose how many colors you want to use (3, 4 or 5), and there are acrylic versions available as well. Just make sure you have a spot for the final product in your living room.
Do you have big gift dreams, but a small gift budget? Don't fear: These options, all under $50, are excellent presents for a range of people and occasions.
Teaching kids about their roots is easy with these cool maps. Each one comes with multiple heart stickers — place them on the country, state or town where your child's ancestors are from, then hang the map up in your little one's room. We love the concept of educational decor, and this is a cultural experience kids can have fun with.
Games are obviously a favorite winter pastime for the kiddos, and it's so convenient that they're also great holiday gifts (family game night is a must!). No video games here, just classic games that keep kids occupied for hours, including board games, foam puzzles, interactive maps, science toys, and more.
